            Summary: Gallery is a 100% offline, privacy-first photo and video management app. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal data, media, or analytics. Everything stays strictly on your local device.
        

1. Information We Access and Process

Gallery is designed to manage photos and videos stored locally on your device. To provide core gallery functionality, the app requests local storage and media permissions (such as read/write access to photos and videos).

Photos and Videos: Displayed, indexed, filtered, and organized solely on your device.
Private Vault: Media placed in the Private Vault is protected by a locally encrypted PIN and stored within your device's secured local database.
User Preferences: Album sort orders, dark/light theme choices, and display modes are saved strictly in local device preferences.

2. Zero Data Collection & Cloud Storage

Our application operates entirely offline:

We do not operate servers that collect user information.
No analytics, telemetry, or tracking SDKs are embedded in the app.
No cloud synchronization, external backup, or network transmission of your photos or videos takes place.
Your Private Vault PIN and preferences are stored exclusively on your device in local Room database storage.

3. Device Permissions

The app only requests standard Android runtime permissions necessary to view, edit, and organize media that you explicitly choose to manage:

READ_MEDIA_IMAGES & READ_MEDIA_VIDEO: To display your media library.
SET_WALLPAPER (optional): If you choose to set an image as your wallpaper.

4. Third-Party Services

The application contains zero third-party tracking, advertising, or data monetization libraries. When you choose to share a media item using the standard Android system share sheet, data is transferred solely to the target app you select.

5. Children's Privacy

Because our application does not collect any personal data from any user, it is fully compliant with children's privacy standards (including COPPA and GDPR-K).

6. Security

Security of your local files is maintained through standard Android sandboxing and local encrypted database structures for Private Vault features.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date.
